While I missed the first hour of Extreme Makeover Weight Loss, I did watch most of the second half when I hopped into bed last night. Unfortunately, the second half is rather uneventful, showing the skin surgery removal Dr. visit, and then the final weigh in. It is always amazing watching someone lose half their weight and gain an entire new life. Today I will watch the first hour and get the whole story. Today, I am hoping the weather holds up so I can try my Dara Torres cap in the pool!!
Need to get your fitness back on, or just need a change of pace? Why not find an old piece of fitness equipment you haven’t used in a while (a fitness dvd, a jump rope, a set of weights, a basketball, even your walking shoes will do if you have been spending too much time on the couch or in front of a screen) and commit to using it for at least 20 minutes, 3 or 4 times this week. You’ll be amazed how much better you feel and feel about yourself, by this time next week. Feel free to share what piece of equipment YOU revisit this week…I am going to dust off my pull-up bar. It’s been way too long.
