Happy Monday. I have just a moment to sit before I feed the dog, myself and get ready to start my work morning. As I have mentioned before, I love Mondays for the opportunity to start all over. It’s as if every Monday morning we are reborn and have a chance to get things right that we may have struggled with before…sort of like a “do-over.”
Today I’ll be drinking lots of water to flush my system. I’ll be eating foods as close to their natural state as possible…heavy on the fresh veggies. I’ll workout just a little differently than I did last week. Maybe that means I’ll workout just a little faster, or just a little longer, or lift a little heavier, or change-up a routine, entirely! Maybe the dog and I will walk a different path when we head out together or maybe a change will be as subtle as altering the position of my hands when I do push-ups. Whatever the change is, I will make some today, because I know our bodies respond to being tricked and changing things up is the best way I know how to do that, safely.
Exercise consistently, but within that consistency, change is important! Give some thought to the tiny changes that you can make today. Small changes add up to big results!
