Here it is Friday. Hopefully your week has been productive and you can kick back and enjoy some weekend time. If winter has kept you cooped up, it’s time to get out and get reacquainted with mother nature! Dust off those bikes or pull out those walking or running shoes. Pick a trail and open your eyes to all the beauty that is ours for the taking. Whether you are briskly walking the magical streets of NYC or LA, or sinking your bare feet into the sand at a beach near you (or me!) its easy to bathe our souls with spring’s beauty while we burn up some calories and make our bodies and minds just a little healthier and happier. As an FYI to my students, I am NEVER upset when my classes are light in attendance because its way too nice to be INSIDE, when you have a chance to be doing some physical, outside. Once and a while the change is exactly what we need to stay motivated and happy.
For evening pleasure this weekend, Mitch and I will be attending the wine tasting at Crown in Coral Springs tonight at 7. Tomorrow night we will be listening to some live music at Mythos in the walk, also in Coral Springs. One of the gym rats, Todd, will be rocking out on drums with his band–8pm – ?? If you are a local, come on out to one or both.
Wherever you are, enjoy your Friday. We wait all week for it. Savor it! Imagine if EVERY day were as great as Friday?

My week has been very productive and now I am ready to take on the weekend!!! The weather has been wonderful…cool in the morning, which I adore. We will be attending a 60th birthday brunch on Sunday at The Ark. We have never been there, but we heard some great reviews. So….TGIF and have a great weekend!! See you tomorrow, Bonni, for your fabulous work out!

Got outside in the fresh air and sunshine (well partly cloudy)this morning. I rode my new bike to the gym, took a 60 minute cardio/lifting class, then rode the bike home! It was great, I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be riding as much as possible.
Thanks Rita for reminding of 2 things I had forgotten I will need for my rides – sunscreen and a helmet.
Bonni – Looking forward to the wine tasting tonight – see you there. 🙂
