Good morning. Happy Friday. Did you wake up and drink your morning water? I am doing that as I blog. Coffee is always the reward, making the glass of water go down both easily and quickly. If your digestive system doesn’t wake up when you do, you are bound to benefit from the morning water and it will already take care of your first glass (or 2 if you are ambitious) for the day.
Though I get a lot of spam and solicitation in comment, I am always happy to stumble upon the comments that YOU post. I appreciate all the words, sentiments, ideas and more, that I find not only in comment, but also in email. Though I may not get back to you right away, I am working on the questions that some of you have and I appreciate the compliments, though I NEVER want this blog to be about that!!
Yesterday I practiced flexibility in my schedule, which meant I never had time to hit the yoga mat. Reading this months issue of Yoga Journal, makes me crave yoga more. I WILL be getting some in today. As one quote, in this month’s journal reads, “yoga is cheaper than therapy,” and that says it all! A second quote says “Yoga allows me to come back to myself. No matter how I hit my mat, I leave it a better version of me.” Well said. If yoga is not a part of your regular fitness routine, I strongly encourage you to do just a little. Beware, however. It IS addicting!
Thanks to Jane for joining us at last night’s Vegan Feast. Congratulations to Derek on his employment status change from temp to perm! Great job beating the statistics and proving your worth. Mitch and I are so proud to have both our boys working full-time, and holding their own in this crazy economy. We are incredibly thankful that both our boys have a fabulous work ethic. Those that employ them are wise and lucky!
Don’t forget that I will be at Bally today, subbing for Carol from 11:30 -12:30 and 12:30-1:30. I look forward to seeing some of you there. We’ll be sneaking some yoga into those classes, too, as this morning, yoga is definitely calling me.
Whatever you do, wherever you are, have an awesome Friday and remember that the more you practice gratitude, the more grateful you will be.
“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.” Brian Tracy
