Happy Vegan Feast Thursday. Try a meatless meal, or even a meatless day. You might be very surprised at just how good you feel. Each and every day I hear and read stories from friends, loved ones and strangers as well. There is a theme amongst the plant-based eaters. While some do it for their own well-being and others for the well-being of the animals, and most for both, we all have something in common. Our entire being is calmer, happier and definitely more at peace. Those are health benefits we don’t even think about going into this lifestyle, but they are the ones that become quite apparent, quite quickly! There are lots of reasons for this happier state of being, but you need to read them for yourselves! Interested? Pick up a copy of Diet for a New America (which, by the way isn’t new at all) by John Robbins (yes, Baskin and Robbins) or The China Study…or Forks over Knives. Any one of those books/videos might change (and hey, even extend) your life! I know they changed mine. Thank you, Derek, for leading by example.
