Yay. I got to go to Sublime last night. It was…simply Sublime! I do believe Mitch, also really enjoyed the entire experience. Atmosphere was nice. Pretty waterfall to see if you sit in the right place. The restaurant is very big, with lots of tables. With a $50 groupon, coupon (that we paid $25 for) and the December special being 40% off wine, we were set to eat, drink and be merry. We started off with a bottle of organic Chianti and it was EXCELLENT! Smooth, mellow and very easy to drink, we did finish off the bottle over the course of the dinner. Miso soup was the soup of the day and we shared a bowl and also shared a salad, which had beautiful presentation. Both were very good. While we waited for our crispy and spicy cauliflower appetizer (frito misto), the waitress put a couple of pieces of pesto polenta on the table. It was interesting and got eaten…but the cauliflower was TO DIE FOR. We actually ended up bringing an order home for tonight’s vegan feast, too. It had an Asian flare and really is a must for anyone going.
