As I was walking out of the gym yesterday with several of my SilverSneakers students, we all exchanged good-byes, but one stood out amongst the rest. One man (who happens to do some motivational speaking) responded “MAKE it a GREAT weekend.” I loved that expression and the idea that we have can take that much control over our time. Not just “HAVE a GOOD weekend,” but “MAKE a GREAT weekend.”
I am up and out, as my Saturday’s now find me working out early with a client before heading to the gym for class. Lucky to love working out and work, this makes for an early start to a GREAT Saturday. Wherever YOU are, whatever YOU do, I hope you, too, will MAKE a GREAT weekend. Give someone else the ability to empower THEIR time. Pass it on.
