Thursday we turn stale into fresh. This is a great one, especially given that Thursday is my favorite day to talk food…especially fresh fruits and vegetables! Go through your fridge and get rid of stale food. If food is lasting too long it was far away from fresh when you bought it. Choose a fresh vegetable over a frozen (or canned). Make a big fresh salad. Chose a fresh food snack over a processed one. Pour fresh squeezed lemon juice and a bit of olive oil over your salad instead of using bottled dressing. Drink some fresh squeezed juice and if you live locally make sure to ask me about Juicera. That’s some fresh juice! Choose a fresh plant-based meal..it is, after all, Vegan (Feast ) Thursday.
This theme, like all the others, easily carries over into all aspects of life. Bring home some fresh flowers for your table. Add something brand new and fresh to your gratitude list. Try a new class or workout at the gym. Revisit a relationship in a fresh new way….maybe even get a little fresh with your loved one 🙂
Remember as you are adding fresh to your day to reinforce the message “Now I am bringing in some freshness.”
Watch or set your DVR to record What are You Hungry For. I believe here in South Florida it is on at noon, today, on PBS, but everyone has different cable companies so wherever you are, I advise you to check your local guide. Watch it with a loved one…and maybe get a little fresh, together.
