So, a week ago I started drinking the Braggs apple cider vinegar and…well…I know this is way too much information (TMI) but, my nagging, bleed every morning hemorrhoid, hasn’t nagged or bled since. I am still thinking it could be a coincidence, but the more days that go by, the less coincidental I think it is. And now that I have shared that tidbit of “TMI,” I have to say that IF this is more than coincidence, I am elated! When I read the little ACV booklet that Rita lent me, it does make mention of helping with varicose veins, bleeding and yes, hemorrhoids. I am going to remain cautiously optimistic about a health annoyance that I have been dealing with for years, and much more so since menopause. This could be a big breakthrough and I am thankful that when Carole sent me the sprinkles, I mentioned them, Rita mentioned the ACV and well, that’s how communication impacts us all positively. Let’s keep talking. As for me, I am hooked on the stuff and drinking it twice a day, now. It IS actually quite pleasant as a warm drink with honey.
As for a master class, I definitely do want to do one. I have been told that I need to be out of the gym by 7 for the ball room dancing class. That means the class would have to be from 6-7. I was hoping for more than an hour, but I am thinking that it will be too hard for working people to get to the gym much before 6. I am going to put together a flyer and do it either the first or second Friday of April. I think it’s worth trying one time and seeing if it’s something worth doing every month or two…
Happy to hear Kyle and Nicole are doing a 5K soon. Those races are just great ways to keep oneself in the running groove. These past few weeks I have been using the elliptical machine on Mondays, instead of running. I have gone way too long without using ANY gym equipment and I always think that piece of machinery is near perfect. However we have to get in our cardio, we HAVE to get it in. I love the yoga, I love the Pilates, I love the weights…I do NOT love cardio (funny, coming from an “aerobics instructor,”) but I do understand how important it is to our metabolism, our hearts, lungs, arteries, our stress levels, our moods, our EVERYTHING. Whatever you do or don’t do, today…get in some cardio.
Biggest Loser tonight. I sure hope the black team can emerge winners on the scale tonight. Or maybe the 2 teams will lose enough combined weight to keep them all safe another week. We’ll know soon enough. Until then, have a great day. Get in some cardio…and peace.
