Clearly the best thing about last night's episode of Biggest Loser, was saying so long to red team's, Melissa.  Her "I am better than everyone else," attitude combined with her "woe is me with the weight loss progress," was evident to the end.  Up one pound on the scale (again) but closer to her goal weight and healthier than everyone else at the ranch (at least in her words) she justified going home.  How about the part where the negative energy and the bad karma are now removed.  Yeah.  Though you were certainly a PLAYER in this game and a strong competitor, without question, I am sure I speak for most viewers when I say the I am glad if someone had to go home, it was her.

I do have to wonder about the one pound weight gain, though.  I was really hard on Jillian when she accused Melissa of throwing the weigh ins and then lying about it.  I think calling someone a liar is one of the single most hurtful words to come out of some-one's mouth.  Unless you witness that lie with your very own eyes and know without a shadow of a doubt that it is so, I think you should never accuse.  Do we think Melissa threw the weigh in again last night?  It's possible she was just ready to go home to her kids.  Or it's possible that she wanted to save face and throw the weigh in, hoping that she would not get voted off?!?!  Who knew there would be a RED line last night?  Or, it is just possible that her weight loss attempts are challenged by hormonal swings and metabolism issues.  Though Jillian swears she KNOWS the science of weight loss, I swear that for every rule, there is an exception.  Whether or not Melissa is the exception, only she (and maybe Lance) know.

As for the Darrell and Cheryl falling below the yellow line, we have to wait a whole week to find out which of the two will go home.  I realize that it being a TV show, Biggest Loser has to have some twists and turns to keep the audience sucked in.  I did NOT like the final challenge of balancing the torch stem on their heads.  I was totally worried about what their necks would feel like, after over 5 minutes of this challenge.  Cheryl's head was in a horrible position and watching the compression in her cervical spine was making ME uncomfortable...and speaking of challenges, the earlier slide board competition didn't do much for me either.  I can only imagine what the outside of their feet felt like after slamming the board 500 times, but beyond that why do they insist on having people falling all over the place?  Not only is it incredibly humiliating, but after having  slipped  in mud this fall, I can attest to how much injury can come out of one fall.  I am not suggesting that slide boarding is a high risk sport, which might be all the more reason I hate to see people falling and risking injury. In the end of that challenge I was really excited that Oneal came out with immunity.  He seems like a really nice man and has a long way to go.  Since he and Sunshine had those first 4 weeks at home, I am happy to see them on the ranch for another week.  With a very exotic look to her, I can't wait to see her at the finale.

I am not partial to Cheryl or Darrell.  I would rather see either of them go home than their children.  Let's see what next week holds.  Is it almost time for the make-over episode?  I can't wait!!!!

Thanks for the tips and the feedback.  It's wonderful traveling on this peaceandfitness journey with my like-minded friends, family,  students and readers!  After all, we are all connected.
