The Great Debate

This debate came to me in a Forks Over Knives newsletter.  I admit I could not devote almost 2 hours to watching this, but have watched parts of it.  It’s an unbiased debate, that is part of a series about every topic under the sun.  I am posting this one on Vegan Feast Thursday and hope that whatever side of the fence you are on, you will listen to some of the arguments.  Since vegans often have a horrible, but well earned reputation for being too “in your face,” (did you hear the joke about “How do you know if someone is a vegan?–Don’t worry, they will tell you!”) I found this to be a refreshing approach to the whys and why nots.  The video should give you a breakdown of segments so you can pick and choose and watch different segments…Give it a few seconds to download.

Remember today is the day we turn stale into fresh.  I am revisiting P90X yoga, today, which will be very fresh after not doing it for years….and very killer, too!  As I go through the day I will be looking at other ways to bring fresh in and I hope you will consider doing the same.

Debate: Don’t Eat Anything with a Face

Neal Barnard, M.D. and Gene Baur (both featured in Forks Over Knives) teamed up last month to debate the motion “Don’t Eat Anything with a Face.” The carefully-moderated debate took place before a live studio audience, which voted for a winner. Click here to watch the debate.
