“Drink a glass of ginger ale if you have a stomachache.”
Why it’s true: Ginger has been proven effective at soothing queasy stomachaches, whether from motion sickness, pregnancy, the flu, or even chemotherapy. It’s credited with many other medicinal properties as well. One study showed that ginger was even MORE effective than Dramamine for those suffering from motion sickness.
So it’s a good idea to grab a bottle when you do your next grocery shop. Leave it in the pantry and give it a try instead of reaching for some expensive medicine that has potential side effects.
Have a happy, healthy, productive and yet still peaceful Friday. Remember that tomorrow night those of us that are in states that change the clock, spring ahead! A favorite day of mine, I am already celebrating.
