Tomorrow night I will be renewing my CPR/AED certification with my SilverSneakers partner in crime, Ellen.  We are doing it at a fire station in Margate.  My guess is there is still plenty of spots available if anyone local wants/needs to join us.  Call 954-971-8961, as we had to pay in advance ($25.00).   While we are required to keep our CPR current to teach SilverSneakers (and to renew fitness certification) CPR is something EVERYONE should know.  If you have a fitness trainer, you may want to ask them if they keep their CPR current, because every 2 years they change it up a bit as they learn what technique works best as they await the professional emergency responders…and as pointed out at a previous CPR training, chances are the life you may someday save will be one of your loved ones.  As a fitness professional you owe this to your students or clients (who probably pay you a lot of money!) and personally, it’s a great tool to have in your back pocket.  Wherever you are just google CPR in your town and you will find it at a local hospital, school or fire station.  Remember the big guy from The Green Mile?  Here’s how CPR by a loved one saved his life, recently…

Hi, was just going through some sites and found this. I saved a life doing CPR I learned last year. I think everyone should know it.
